USA ARCHERY

Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the National Archery Association, known today as USA Archery, was formed in 1879 to foster and promote the sport of archery.

USA Archery is the National Governing Body for the Olympic sport of archery and is the organization recognized by the U.S. Olympic Committee for the purpose of selecting and training men’s and women’s teams to represent the U.S. in the Olympic, Paralympic, and Pan American Games. USA Archery also selects teams for World Championships, World Cups, and other international competitions annually.

USA Archers Score High at World Cup Antalya

ANTALYA, Turkey – USA Archers headed to Antalya, Turkey following the Gator Cup last weekend, jumping from one sunny scorcher to the next. With world record weather predicted, scores and competition were fierce in today’s qualification round as over 360 athletes from nearly 50 countries competed at the Archery World Cup’s second stage.
